Hello, Happy Spring, Lawn Fawn
I had so much fun sharing Distress Watercolor Pencils with all of you during the last Create With Us; I thought I would share another card with you to keep trying those watercolor pencils out! I started by creating the background with Distress Watercolor Pencils to create today’s card. I used a piece of acetate and rubbed the wet Distress Watercolor Pencils onto the plastic, then transferred the pigment to a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock, similar to “ink-smooshing.” I then die-cut the largest stitched scalloped rectangle and added a touch of Spun Sugar Distress Watercolor Pencils to it.
Next, I die-cut a few Lily of the Valley out of Distress Watercolor Cardstock and colored them with Distress Watercolor Pencils. I die-cut a stitched heart from the Watering Can, a stitched tag from Build-a-Drink Mason Jar Add-On, and a tiny heart from Garden Snail.
I assembled it all together into a bundle of flowers. For the sentiment I used Scripty Hello, and Henry’s Build A Sentiment: Spring
