Hi everyone! Colorado Craft Company and Anita Jeram have some new crafty goodies that have been released today! You know I love creating Halloween cards, so I had a lot of fun with this release! Be sure to read to the end for giveaway details!

I am so excited to share with you the new release from Colorado Craft Company! New illustrations from Anita Jeram, and they are so fun to create with! Ok- let’s get to the good stuff!

I created this card using the new The Bark Side and Happy Haunting stamp sets. For the front of the card I white embossed the images onto some Distress Black Heavystock. Whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool. I stamp the sentiment several times over using a Misti and Yeti white pigment ink, then sprinkle the Alabaster White embossing powder from Brutus Monroe.
I watercolored the images with Gansai Tambi Starry and Gem color palettes. For the brown on the dog, I used Distress Watercolor Pencils. I also used Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Star Stackables to cut a window out of the front of the card.
For the inside of the card, I used Lawn Fawn Jet Black to stamp the images and I stamped them onto Lawn Fawn white cardstock which is Neenah Classic Crest 80 LB Smooth Solar White Paper. I used the Copic markers below to color the images. With the swatches below you can easily substitute for similar colors or even a different coloring medium. I masked the images, and then ink-blended the background with Distress Inks (Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Dried Marigold, Carved Pumpkin, Hickory Smoke, and Black Soot). I added some black glaze pen to the bats, and Distress Rock Candy to the moon.
These stamps were so fun to play with! The illustrations are just so sweet. I hope you enjoyed this card!
