You Got This
For this card, I started with the new Nested Star Foil plates and foiled with Spellbinders Moondust foil onto Distress White Heavystock. I am using the Spellbinders, Glimmer Hot Foil System and the Spellbinders Platinum Machine. The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System works with most die-cut machines, you don’t need a Spellbinders Platinum.
I then ink blended with Pink Fresh Inks (Raspberry Bliss, Marigold, Aquamarine, and Candy Violet) with blender brushes. I then trimmed the panel and adhered it to black cardstock.
For the sentiment, I stamped and diecut “You Got This” from the Chrysanthemum Slimline Stamp set. I also white embossed onto black cardstock “Make Your Own Magic” from the same set using white pigment ink and Brutus Monroe Alabaster White Embossing Powder
Note: whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool
For a little sparkle, I added some Glacier Pinkfresh Jewels.
Rainbow Peony Hello
For these two cards, I started by hot foiling the new Peony Print hot foil plate with Spellbinders, Glimmer Hot Foil Roll in Matte Gold onto Distress White Heavystock. Then using the Pinkfresh Solid Foil Plate, I used the leftover foil to transfer onto another background.
I then ink blended two rainbow “hello” using the new Simplest Gestures Stencil set and Pinkfresh inks (Raspberry Bliss, Marigold, Aquamarine, and Candy Violet) with blender brushes. I then diecut them with the Simplest Gestures die set, these all coordinate with the Simplest Gestures stamp set.
I trimmed the peony panels and adhered them to rainbow ink blended backgrounds using the same ink pads I used for the “hello”. I added the sentiment with foam squares and sprinkled on some Glacier jewels.
Rainbow Peony Thank You
For this card, I embossed a panel of Distress White Heavystock, by pressing the hot Peony Print Hot Foil Plate through my Spellbinders Platinum machine without any foil. I then ink blended the background using Pinkfresh inks (Raspberry Bliss, Marigold, Aquamarine, and Candy Violet) with blender brushes. I trimmed the panel down and matted it onto black cardstock.
For the sentiment, I ink blended “thank you” using the new Simplest Gestures Stencil set and Metropolis Pinkfresh ink with a blender brush. I then diecut it with the coordinating die. I also white embossed onto black cardstock “You make my heart smile” from the Chrysanthemum Slimline set using white pigment ink, Brutus Monroe Alabaster White Embossing Powder, and the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool
For sparkle, I added some Glacier Jewels.

Fun and pretty cards with this release.
I loved all the cards, but was especially inspired by the idea of using the hot foil plate to emboss your cardstock!

I like the rainbow peony card the best. Since I don’t have a foil plate, this isa way I could use a foil plate should I see one for a great price on clearance.

I’ve gotta say I love the idea of using the hot foil plate as an embossing folder. And that the stencils include a word or two – making them oh so versatile. that’s my favorite (versatility).
I love the Rainbow Peony Thank You card because of the way you used hot foil plate. I hadn’t thought of doing that with the plate so that is a really fun way to use it.

Wow, I am absolutely in love with the chrysanthemum slimline set !!! Pinkfresh is killing it with this release. I don’t own any of their stuff yet, but with all of the beautiful flowers they have now, I’m going to have to work lots of overtime…lol
