Let’s MOVE! 🚶🏼♀️✨
It’s been way too long since my last StepBet, but I’m ready to lace up and get moving again! I’ll admit, I’m going to miss my favorite stroller buddy, Mister Halrey, but I’m really hoping some of my crafty friends will join in this time for motivation and support.
I’ve set some goals for myself, some personal, some {creative chick} focused (oh boy does my studio need a clean-up!, plus I would like to finally decorate). One of the big ones? To MOVE more! My creative time involves a lot of sitting, and I know how much better I feel when I’m up and moving.
That’s why I started doing StepBets a while back. My first one was way back in July 2022, and I’ve now completed eight challenges, something I’m super proud of. StepBet has been the most motivating way I’ve ever found to keep myself moving consistently, and I’m wicked excited to jump back in!
Here’s how it works:
- Download the StepBet app (it’s free!) and sync it with your Apple Watch, Fitbit, or other step tracker.
- Join my challenge by paying $40. The app calculates personalized daily/weekly goals based on your past activity.
- If you meet your goals, you get your $40 back! The remainder of the pot is split among all the winners.
- The challenge runs 5 weeks, with the first week as a “warm-up” so we can ease in.
- Best part? We can all chat and cheer each other on in the app community.

I’m signed up. I am already participating in a fundraising event that has me recording miles. So thought I could put them to good use for this challenge as well. Sadly, it looks like this challenge is all walking… whereas I’ve been biking and doing workout videos in addition to walking for my fundraiser.
yes- it is a STEP bet. You will still get some “steps” tracked from biking and doing workout videos. Happy you have you join 🙂
The timing is too perfect for me to not do this. We leave for Jamaica in 6 weeks and I’ve been telling my husband that we’ve got to get up and get moving. This is the push I need! Thanks, Jenn!

I’m in, Jenn. I haven’t done one since your last challenge. I have taken up water aerobics but there’s nothing better than walking. Now that the weather is cooling off, I’m gonna go for it. I had to buy a new tracker today so when it arrives tomorrow, I’ll sign up. The only thing that scares me is all the events I’m signed up for this month! But, I’m putting this out here in the comments for accountability!
