VMAA- challenge 4

12/5/2008

soo this one was to make a card representing a holiday memory from your childhood…..

so let me explain this one.. i grew up in a log cabin my dad built.. we heated the house by wood.. all the time.. so we used our fireplace A LOT… AND… on the wall in the living room we had a deer head hanging up… which is kinda funny cause my dad couldn't yell at a deer let alone kill one..so not quite sure how we got the deer head…
anyways… my parents used to tell me as a lil girl that it was one of santa's reindeers watching me ALL year long to make sure i was a good girl hahahah 😉

here's my card ( i played with blending with my copics too.. so i have a closer up pic too):

LOL! Oh my goodness, that’s a cute story and a cute card to go with it! I’m sure that reindeer kept you on your toes all year! When I was a kid I thought every red light I saw in the sky at night was rudolph. When it wasn’t Christmas, my mom told me it was Santa on his sleigh checking up on everyone!! 😀

I absolutely love that story! I, too, grew up with deer heads on the walls – my dad was an outdoorsman. I refuse to hunt (can’t stay quiet that long anyway), but I love to fish. Learned that from dad when I was a wee girl.
