patterned paper cards OH MY!

06/3/2010

tonight i had the pleasure of hosting creative club at colorful creations… and i taught these fun cards made with……… pattern paper!!! you are prolly thinking "so what!?" but for me…. no stamped images… just diecuts and pretty papers isn't the norm….

i had this project in mind… we ordered the papers from basic grey…. and then i was ready to *create* BUT it was a tough one…. it took most of the day off and on to get these designed…. i kept working on them… and getting frustrated, walked away and did some other things @ the store…. back to the cards i went…. tried again… etc etc…. and then finally it all came together ;)

i guess i'm sharing this story.. cause i hear a lot from the peeps in my classes and stamp club say " oh, you must never have creative blocks" or " you can always come up with cute ideas"

BUT it's hard for me too ๐Ÿ™‚

p.s. dear basic grey… please continue to create double sided pattern papers all year long, not just for the holidays lv, j

these cards are only made with (3) 6×6, (1) 12×12 basic grey pattern papers and 3 a muse 4 bar notes (couldn't break out of that habit.. let's not get CRAZY!!!)

These are great cards! I never think to make cards with just papers. I will have to make an effort given that I have an obession with those small pads of patterned paper!

I am the worst with pattern paper (although I love it and own too much!) So I understand the effort you went through! Fabulous job!
