only 5 days left in the month and i have only posted 3 times…. thats proof of lots of working, lots of teaching, lots of traveling and LOTS of fun!! 🙂
so let's get this post started…..
a*muse*a*palooza 2009
here are a few of the designs i taught in my classes throughout the week
I had such a great group of people who came out to all my classes!! It's so fun to show off all the new a muse goodies and see your excitement.. i love teaching!
here are some pictures from my classes at ink about it!!
eeekkkk after uploading my pics from the week i realized i spaced it on taking pics at beautiful impressions!!! what was i thinking??
here are some pics from my classes at colorful creations
we had lots of people in the classes from all over.. san diego etc and june pictured with me below was up visiting her mom from NC.. she used to be ( heck she still is ) one of our customers and she teaches for a muse now too!
some pics from my classes at stampassion! All the girls working were decked out in their a muse hirts.. soo cute! (me, melissa, amye and mary)
i changed my bedding over and *finally* took the electric blanket off… the weather here has been a bit off… cool, rainy not very summery like…. anyways i had these super cute sheets etc from jos.. she spoils me when it comes to bedding materials 😉
my last day of teaching was at stampassions in latham NY.. i left there and went straight to melyssas new home in newburyport MA.. where we ( melys, luke and i ) made favors for josies *surprise* bridal shower the next day… we woke up early sunday am.. and headed to laconia NH … where we pulled off the surprise with the help of ayden and lorraine 🙂
and because i know you guys get *stompy* if there aren't enough mister harley pics…. all snuggly under the blanket watching mommy prep more stuff for a*muse*a*palooza and his new perch ontop of the door.. i love this shot.. doesn't he look scary!?
i got about 3 inches cut off my hair.. i tried taking a pic of it that day.. but someone had a different idea…. so i took one a few days later when i was away for a*muse*a*palooza
my dad came down to visit.. for fathers day i got him nickelback tickets…. so we decided to make a weekend of it. He trailered the harley down and everything… friday the weather was kind of iffy.. so we took the jetta down to the wellfleet audubon and walked around the trails
we then grabbed a snack at 4seas icecream 😉 YUM.. and headed off cape to the concert. We hit horrible traffic along the canal on our way to 495… we got to the concert a little late, but we were able to catch most of papa roach, saving abel and then nickelback. This was my dad's first concert….. ever! So he was pretty excited… he loved it.. it was cute seeing him dance and even sing along!! Nickelback put on a FABULOUS show!!! Most of the concerts i goto *cough* *cough* tori amos *cough *cough* there isn't any fireworks, screaming, fire, and boobies during it…. and there was a lot of all of that during this show! FUN TIMES… my dad said as we were leaving " if they were playing again next weekend i would go… were def going next time they are in town" 🙂 This is the first time i paid for the VIP parking… and that was TOTALLY worth the $40.. will do that again!!
The next day we got up early and hopped on the back of the bike.. we rode down 6A down to provincetown…. we went whale watching ( the first for both of us) This was awesome!! we saw a lot of humpback whales…. towards the end of the trip we even saw a mom and her calf, that the guide hadn't seen in awhile. It was a perfect day for it. The water was calm.. sky was clear. We then took the bike back home (hitting hardly any traffic) we stopped at lighthouse beach in chatham…. since we walked it in Jan my dad got a kick out of seeing it in July. We then made our way to spanky's… scored a table outside for the best steamers ever!!!
Now that July is coming to a close…. i hope to get in some more beach time.. get back on track of zumba, my walks and gym visits…. and to clock in some time in my crafty space…. i have some creative ideas brewing and projects that need to be made….. i also hope to get back on track with my blog… and some projects around the island….. after hanging out here today i know mister harley is happy to have his mommy home 🙂
i don't travel off cape to teach in august…. so peek at my classes page to see where i will be in september… or if your visiting the cape in august… check out the class schedule at colorful creations and sign up for some creative time!!
Love your hair cut and that pic of Harley! Looks like you and your dad had a great time too!
Love the pics. Great shot of Mr. Harley. Excellent pics of the whales!!!
Ok…how did we end up at the same concert/same section and not even see each other??? That’s just NOT right! And too funny that my mom is the one that told me about it. LOL…guess I’m never on facebook. Can’t wait to get my craft on in a few weeks. Miss you, love you!
P.S. Just like always, we’re the same person and I cut a few inches off my hair too…I think I’m a little shorter then you this time even, but without the side swept bangs. 🙂
Enjoyed allll the photos. Mr H looks like a vampire cat! Awesome snapshot. Live it up Jenn! 🙂
Hi Jenn! I like your hair short like that…and LOVE the Mr. Harley pic on top of the door…too cute!! Enjoy August on the Cape!
I LOVE HARLEY!
Papa Roach is my favorite!
OMG! So much fun all crammed into one post.
Thanks for updating, your cards look like great fun and what an awesome ending to your crazy travel. Looks like time with Jimbo was a blast. That’s awesome!
BTW! love your haircut and I too think Mr. Harley is just the funniest kitty. I think he’s trying to scare you from leaving him from the top of his perch. LOVE that shoT!
Love your blog Jenn, and your right about Mr. Harley pics, its fun to see what he is up to. I can’t believe he stayed up on the door. 🙂 I’m going to have to visit you at your store in August since I know now where it is. 🙂 At least I know the street. 🙂
Welcome back to blog land, pics are great. Love the one of Mr Harley on the door – so fierce I don’t think so!!!
That Mister Harley picture is too precious! How fierce:)
