sooo….. among all my craftiness, working, teaching, and just living life.. i have added a new addiction into the mix… and i’m not sure who/what to blame… it could be the hurricane that whipped through here last weekend leaving no power so entertainment ideas were at a minimum, it could be lee conveniently leaving his at my island.. tempting me… but either way…
loving mario brothers!!! it has brought me back to 4th and 5th grade playing with my step brother… each world i beat and move on to the next .. its fun!! I’m reminded of all the characters, and how to beat them etc. 🙂 i know… totally lame, but fun still 🙂
well… lee came over last weekend for a fun filled taco night and surprised me with my very own nintendo DS!!! he said it was so he could have his back, but don’t let him fool you.. he just wants someone to play 2 player games with hehehehehe..
ok … now its your turn to share with me your geeky addiction… share share share!!
2morrow i’m off to westford ma for 2 days of classes at ink about it. I love teaching here, its really like going to play with old friends…. most of my a muse addicts that take the classes have taken most of the ones ive taught there in the 2 years i’ve been teaching for a muse… so it’s just fun 🙂
then.. looking ahead, i can’t believe in a week from now.. i’ll be chit chatting with melyssa and luke in person!! i’ll get to say hello the girls at the a muse shop.. and just have some relaxing days 🙂 i can’t wait!!
I have always been a huge fan of all the Mario Brothers games. Fun for sure!
Sorry you lost your baby. I didn’t know. That’s sad.
i challenge you to a mario kart duel. no joke. i’ll kick your a$$. 😉
My geeky addiction is ABSOLUTELY watching Mythbusters. I don’t have the hand/eye coordination for video games! lol!
Oh fun!! My Dad bought one for my Grandmother… every time I visited her I played Brain Age 2 … I was addicted. You should get that one!! 🙂 It’s not as fun as that Super Mario game.. love that game too. It really takes you back!
Lucky little “old” you. Got your message and will see what I can do :). If I don’t see you before your trip have a great time.
You did get one!!! too funny! So jealous you are heading to A Muse. Can’t wait to see pictures & hear about your trip! Have fun!
I used to commute on the bus to downtown Seattle. I got tired of reading all the time so bought myself a GameBoy Color (does that date me?) and a Pokemon game, just to see what all the fuss was about. I got totally addicted but it made me the coolest aunt in the world!
BTW, are you coming to Seattle? If so, you have to let me know when you will be there so I can come say hello! Bring some Ribbon Stiff with ya! haha
I too enjoy the DS. In fact, I have asked for one for Christmas!
oh lee 🙂 he may be a pathological liar (jk!) but at least he buys good gifts!
