happy november

Happy November Everyone!

1st I want to apologize for the appearance of my blog. I recently switched hosts for shurkus.com and have a little bit of customizing i need to get back up and running, but with hurricane sandy I lost some precious power filled hours.

Now, onto my November announcement 🙂

Last year, for the month of november I shared with people on facebook everyday something i was thankful for. I loved doing this. I loved sharing, and reflecting on all i have in my life to be thankful for.

This year i wanted to be able to document this in a better way- so I decided to start a blog series ” i am thankful”. Each day I will post what i am thankful for. I will present it in words, pictures and paper crafting- whatever sparks my creativity at the time.

I encourage you to play along. Post on your blog, on your facebook, or just share it with family and friends. I would love to read your thoughts in the comments throughout the month as well.

November 1: today i am thankful for this blog. i have been blogging since 2005. I have enjoyed watching it evolve. i have enjoyed learning new ways of presenting my content. I have enjoyed all the comments and reader interaction i have gotten from you over the years. i am thankful to be able to look back at my posts over the years and read through the memories that i am creating in my life.
