I wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a very Merry Holiday Season!
As this year comes to a close, my heart feels so full. The creative community we are building, both online and in person, truly means everything to me. You inspire me, energize me, and remind me every single day why I feel so lucky to call this my full-time passion. 💕
Thank you for being here. For cheering me on, engaging with my blog and social media, joining my classes and events, sharing your creativity, offering encouragement, and supporting my small business. Whether you’ve taken one class, attended an event, left a comment, or shopped my online store, please know how deeply grateful I am for you.
This year was such a big one for Creative Chick Co.!
- I taught 34 online and in-person classes,
- hosted 2 Creative Journey Art Retreats (virtual and in person),
- hosted the 26th Crop on the Cape in person,
- guest taught at 5 different events,
- helped out at 1 in-person trade show
- led a variety of YouTube LIVE events,
- and celebrated 20 years of blogging, which honestly still blows my mind!
All of that adds up to thousands of creative hours, so many shared laughs, lots of glitter, and countless moments of connection. I’m endlessly grateful for every opportunity to create with you.
On the home front, we continued settling into our new house and truly count our blessings every single day to call it home. With Josie’s hard work and organization magic, the downstairs studio is now working so well for all things Creative Chick Co., and I couldn’t be more thankful for her and all that she does.
Gus Gus and Jac are, of course, still living the life of luxury (as they should 😉) and generously giving us all the kitty snuggles in return.
As we head into the new year, it’s finally time to finish organizing my studio, and decorate it with all the fun, inspiring art I’ve collected and created over the years. I can’t wait to share the space with you once it’s all done! Perfect timing too… Ranger and Tim Holtz just released amazing new labels for all things Distress, and I had to start using them right away (see below!). I’m excited to dive back in and finish it all up after the holidays.
I’m already dreaming, planning, and getting wicked excited for a creative 2026, and I hope you’ll join me for what’s next!
For the first time in a long time, I’ve set a vacation auto-reply on my email and am giving myself permission to slow down a bit through the holidays. I’m hoping to catch my breath, enjoy some downtime, and soak in this season a little more. 💕
