Today is my last day at Cape Cod Life. I’m proud of what my colleagues and I have accomplished during my time there. We successfully re-designed the website (which is now award winning), launched a multi-vendor e-commerce site (think local Amazon supporting small businesses) and increased engagement with our readers through social media and email marketing.
But as I approach the last year of my 30’s, I realize I need to take a leap and do what I’m most passionate about and that is being creative and teaching. I love hosting classes/events and sharing creative inspiration. My new adventures will be concentrating on being a {creative chick} and sharing as much of that creative energy with all of you!
I wouldn’t be able to take this leap without the support of Chris. Not sure he knew what craziness he signed up for when we met over 5 years ago, but he has always been supportive and I appreciate that so much ❤️
I have a lot of fun things already planned for 2018 and if you want to be sure not to miss any of it, sign up for my email newsletter here: https://shurk.us/shurk-news
