Welcome to the Seasons Givings Blog Hop! This is such a fabulous hop that Latisha organizes each year and I love being part of it. Some of you might be new around here, so I thought I would share a little bit about me: I am Jenn Shurkus, and I consider myself to be a “creative chick” πŸ˜‰ I used to manage a local papercrafting store and all of us girls who worked there were the “creative chicks” so I have carried on that tradition. I live on Cape Cod in MA. I am obsessed with the ocean and am part mermaid. I wear flip flops 363 days a year. I am a fur baby mama, my boyfriend Chris and I have 3 kitties we adore; Mister Harley, Gus Gus, and Jac. You can see pics of them on their own instagram account here. 2019 was a FUN year for me. It is the second year where I was fully self-employed! I teach in person and online papercrafting classes. I teach at trade shows for Lawn Fawn. I host Art Retreats on Cape Cod, Creative Journey Art Retreat.Β  I also host Crop on the Cape on Cape Cod MA, and 2020 will be our 21st year!! Crop on the Cape is fast approaching in March, and there are still a few seats available- would love to have you join us! More details here.

In 2019 I traveled and taught in 12 different states, 2 provinces in Canada, 3 trade shows and 15 independent stores! That’s a lot of Lawn Fawn classes, and meeting a lot of creative peeps!

I also have been busy planning my classes for 2020 and will be sharing more details about that soon!Β I absolutely LOVE teaching and can’t wait to do more of it in the next year.
