Big news, friends! Crop on the Cape has a new name, a new home, and a new way to register. Our old venue in Hyannis has been sold, so we’re heading to the Sea Crest Beach Resort in North Falmouth, right on Old Silver Beach. Fun fact: that’s where the event started back in 1999, so we’re going back home!
Why the new name? Our event has grown well beyond scrapbooking. Card makers, mixed media artists, home decor crafters, and even knitters join us, so Crafting on the Cape welcomes everyone.
The highlights
- Dates: March 18–21, 2027 (still the third weekend in March). The 2028 event is March 16–19, 2028.
- Registration opens November 6th: 12:00 p.m. ET for 2026 attendees, then 5:00 p.m. ET for everyone.
- 2028 registration opens at the same time. Our 2027 space is smaller, so if 2027 sells out you can grab a 2028 spot. You can also register for 2028 only.
- Pricing: Classic Weekend Attendance is $215, and Class Pass is $40. Payment is in full at registration. Classes are an additional fee.
- One friend registers the group. Enter the number of seats, check out, then fill in everyone’s names, emails and seating requests on the form that follows. Classes and 2028 are separate checkouts. You MUST have everyone’s first name, last name AND email address. The form requires this information.
- Separate purchases: You will need to make separate purchases, purchase your package first (Classic or Class Pass), then check out. Purchase your classes second – then check out. Lastly, if you would like, register for 2028.
- Six-foot tables for everyone with a Classic Weekend, arranged in groups of four.
- Hotel rooms are $155 per night plus tax for single or double for 2027. Booking details are on the venue page.
- All your favorite vendors and the same variety of classes are coming with us. There’s no swap table or AccuCut in 2027, but we’ll have Spellbinders Platinum machines for die cutting.
Event info lives at craftingonthecape.com, but registration happens on shurkus.com/shop/, same as always.
