You’re So Sweet, Simon Says Stamp

We are officially entering the sweet season, that time of year when I find myself reaching for stamps and dies that help me create cards filled with love, smiles, and a little bit of sugar-coated charm. Cards for friends, family, and the people we adore always feel extra special when they’re handmade, and this project was such a joy to put together.
For this card, I used some recently released stamps and dies from Simon Says Stamp, and they could not be more perfect for love-filled occasions. The Sweet Treat Critters are absolutely adorable, and pairing them with all of the yummy desserts instantly made me smile.
I started by ink blending the card background using Lawn Fawn inks, keeping the colors soft and warm to create a cozy, happy vibe. To add a little extra detail, I also ink blended the Eyelet Layer Frames die, which adds such a sweet, delicate border.
For a subtle pattern in the background, I used the Tiny Spaced Hearts stencil from Simon Says Stamp. It adds just the right amount of interest without taking away from the star of the show, the critters and treats.
The images from Sweet Treat Critters were colored and then embellished to really bring those desserts to life. A touch of Ranger Glossy Accents gives the frosting and cherries that yummy shine, while Distress Rock Candy Clear adds sparkle and texture that makes everything feel extra special. These small details truly make the sweet treats pop off the card.
This card just feels like happiness on paper, perfect for sending a little love, encouragement, or a “just because” note to someone special.
