You Desert A Merry Christmas- Lawn Fawn STAMPtember Exclusive

I have a fun card I created with the new stamp set to hopefully inspire you!

This mermaid hung up her mermaid tail for a bit to create this fun desert holiday card! For this card, I started by stamping some of the adorable images in the new/exclusive Christmas in the Desert stamp set. I used Lawn Fawn Jet Black and Lawn Fawn white cardstock which is Neenah Classic Crest 80 LB Smooth Solar White Paper to stamp the images. I then colored in the images with the coordinating coloring stencils.

Have you seen the coloring stencils that Lawn Fawn has come out with? Even though I love coloring with alcohol-based markers, and watercoloring, these stencils are so fun to add color to the the stamped images easily. The coloring stencils line up quickly, and you can build up layers for different details with ink pads and blender brushes.

I used the following Lawn Fawn inks to color in the images:

• Celery Stick
• Freshly Cut Grass
• Bubblegum
• Sugar Cookie
• Carrot
• Doe

Once the images were colored in, I die-cut them out with the coordinating die set. For the background I ink blended Lawn Fawn ink in Butter, Peach Fuzz and Bubblegum onto some Distress White heavystock.

I also die-cut the new Cactus Border out of Distress White heavystock, which I ink blended with Lawn Fawn ink in Sugar Cookie and Doe. I also die-cut it out of Kraft Sparkle Cardstock.

I added some Prisma Glitter and some Distress Tinsel Glitter to parts of the images. Using a Quickie Glue pen I am able to add sparkle to detailed areas easily. I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink. I also added a sprinkling of hearts die cut from Lawn Fawn’s Hearts & Stars Tiny Tags die and Kraft Sparkle Cardstock.

There is just SO much you can do with this fun set, but remember it is limited and exclusive! Once it is sold out it is GONE!
