Hey crafty friends! 👋 I’m popping in to share a card I made using some of my favorite Tim Holtz stamps and stencils from Stampers Anonymous.
Fun fact: Stampers Anonymous doesn’t retire their Tim Holtz designs, so there’s a huge library of awesome stamps and stencils you might not have seen in a while (or totally forgot you had 😉).

XO In My Heart, Tim Holtz
For this card, I started by creating the background first. I ink-blended Distress Oxide inks to achieve a smooth, creamy blend. Using the same colors in Distress Watercolor Pencils, I scribbled the pencils directly onto the large background stamp from the Valentine’s Silhouette stamp set. I lightly misted the stamp with water using the Distress Sprayer and stamped it onto the ink-blended background. I absolutely love seeing how the Distress Watercolor Pencils react with the Distress Oxides, every print has its own unique, slightly unpredictable look. I finished the background with a few white paint splatters for added texture.
Next, I stamped the solid heart and the “xo” from the same stamp set using Distress Watercolor Pencils. After fussy cutting them out, I arranged the pieces onto the card to create a simple but bold focal point.
For the sentiment, I stamped one from the Mixed Media Note Quotes stamp/stencil set and tucked it into the design. To finish everything off, I filled in the “xo” with a generous layer of Glossy Accents and sprinkled on Distress Rock Candy for extra shine and dimension, because a little sparkle always makes it better. ✨
