One little creative tradition I’ve developed over the years is using the January Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp to create thank you cards and winter greetings after the holidays. It’s the perfect way to keep the winter vibes going while also catching up on all those thank-yous that come along with the season.

For this card, I started with elements from the January Simon Says Stamp Card Kit, which is filled with beautiful winter imagery and a soft, calming color palette. I love how versatile these kits are, you can easily stretch them beyond traditional holiday cards and into cozy winter projects.

I created the main panel by layering the large snowflake stencil letting it take center stage for a clean but striking focal point. The soft blues feel crisp and wintry without being overly “Christmas,” which makes this design perfect for thank you cards, winter hellos, or even thinking-of-you cards.

The sweet deer image adds just the right touch of whimsy. I stamped and colored the image to coordinate with the rest of the card. The With Thanks sentiment finishes the card simply and elegantly.

From my own supplies, I added a few extra details to enhance the texture and sparkle. I used Distress Snowflakes and Distress Rock Candy Chunky for a frosty, snow-kissed effect, just enough shimmer to catch the light without overpowering the design. I also pulled in a few coordinating inks from my stash to bring everything together seamlessly.
