Did you hear? Lawn Fawn has pulled some fan-favorite sets out of retirement! Joining You’ve Got Mail back from the vault are Wish You Were Here and Wish You Were Here Too, and the good news keeps coming! All three sets have coordinating dies and coloring stencils available if you’d like to complete your collection. These vault releases are strictly while supplies last, so if something catches your eye, don’t wait. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Before we dive in, a quick reminder about my upcoming class, Happy Hour! We’re focusing on the Build-a-Drink series and using only dies to create some seriously clever and fun techniques. If new supplies aren’t in the budget right now, no worries, I have affordable kits available so everyone can join in!
Wish You Were Here, Lawn Fawn

Using Wish You Were Here, which is back from the vault for a limited time, I created this fun card, inspired by this card I created years ago!
I started by coloring images from Wish You Were Here, Mermaid For You, You Are Sublime, and On the Beach with Copic Markers. I share a swatch of the colors I used below. Then I diecut the images and added a touch of Prisma Glitter with a Quickie Glue Pen. I set those aside.
Next, I did a little bit of pigment smooshing with a piece of acetate and Distress Watercolor Pencils onto the background. I did a few layers, dried it, and then cut it out with the largest outside-in stitched rectangle.
Lastly, I stamped out “cape cod” with Quinn’s ABCs (my fave!) and watercolored them with Distress Watercolor Pencils.
Once the card was assembled, I added some Glossy Accents to the hearts and Prisma Glitter to make them dimensional. Then, also with Glossy Accents, I added a sprinkling of Distress Rock Candy Chunky to the bottoms of my Cape Cod letters for a little extra sparkle.
This one was such a joy to make, it brought back so many fun memories of that original Cape Cod card, and I love how it all came together with the watercolor background and all those beachy little details. If Wish You Were Here has been on your wish list, now is the perfect time to grab it before it heads back to the vault!

Lawn Fawn has created a special “Retiring Soon” section on their website. Once those items are gone, they’re gone for good! As they celebrate their 16th anniversary, they’re making space for exciting new releases, so definitely check it out before your favorites disappear.
TIP: you can use the search feature here on my website and type in the name of any Lawn Fawn product, and you will see any inspiration I have shared with that item.
