Until February 14th not only will I have a creative love inspired project for you, but one of my wicked crafty friends will too! It is a 14 day long blog hop! I am so honored that these girls are offering up their time and creativity and sharing it with me and more importantly YOU! So, be sure to hop back to my blog each day until Valentine’s Day- Take a peek at what I have created for you and then I will also share with you another inspiring link to check out as well!
Sharing the LOVE! Since this is the season of L-O-V-E be sure to leave me a little love and my hop participants a little love as well throughout this series. (hint: we LOVE comments) Let me knowin the comments how you are sharing the LOVE of this blog hop- you can share the link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest. The more times you share, and the more days you share the better your odds of winning! I will be randomly picking some sharers and posting them and the prizes at the end of this series.
I saw a cute little cartoon of a hedgehog with heart quills, and for some reason that image stuck in my brain for later use… does that happen to you? Anyways, that is how this card started. Lawn Fawns hedgehog from Critters in the Woods set is so cute, but add little red hearts cut out from the Happy Trails Lawn Cuts set, and it is even more adorable! For my Valentine & Friendship card class I designed a few of the cards to be smaller, 4.25 x 4.25. I think the smaller size is so cute, and if you think back to when you exchanged Valentines as a kid, they were always small 🙂 And once I made one, it was SO cute, I decided to make a set of 3. Using some of the Doodle Bug 6×6 Sweetheart papers, Freckled Fawn heart washi tape and the NEW Lawn Fawn Happy Trails set and the clouds from Lawn Fawn Spring Showers Lawn Cuts set cut out in velum. I just love how these cards turned out.
Today for my creative friend I have Lenny. She is on the Lawnscaping Facebook Inspiration Design Team. She is always sooo supportive of me and my blog and all my creations. I even got some fun mail from her in the fall from over the pond 😉 My only issue is she has been in the states twice now since I have known her and I haven’t gotten Here is a peek of what she has in store for you, be sure to visit her blog and remember SHARE the love 😉 and see you tomorrow for the last day of this hop!
Valentine Blog Hop Series 2014
Totally my favorite card 😉
This is just adorable! I love that cute little hedgehog with the hearts – adding hearts to any creature automatically makes it adorable (although I don’t think I can say that about a snake…). The vellum clouds are so perfect against the patterned paper. All together this is a sweet card and I love, love the size too!
So glad I found you through Jingle’s blog – I’ll be visiting you far more often now as you’re in my Feedly now. Loving your card style!!
Thank you also for your e-mail with the encouragement to try mixed media – now that I have a four day weekend ahead of me, I’ll try to give it a whirl. Thank you again!!
I’ve also pinned and shared your card from today – https://www.pinterest.com/pin/283234264039563655/
Another cute as can be card. Love those vellum clouds and the hearts on the hedgie!
Jenn, so adorable with the heart quills. Yes, I see something and that idea sticks in my head too. I’m going to be sad when this blog hop is over. Thanks for the inspiration.
Totally adorable! Love your idea of adding heart quills to the hedgehog!

Oh, my goodness……..what a totally adorable set of cards!! I can’t get over how cute all the elements are. The little hedgie looks so sweet and innocent traipsing around completely unaware of how endearing he is with those heart quills. I love that enchanting pink paper with the clouds and hearts hanging down….and I am in raptures over your delightful vellum clouds. What a wonderful card set!!! You are amazing!!!
