Toadally Unfrogettable, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

Hello! I am sharing with you today some cards I created with the Simon Says Stamp’s August Card Kit! This kit is overflowing with products! Toadally Unfrogettable, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

I created 2 cards to share with you. I love how fun and easy they came together, using the supplies from the kit. I started right away by creating a shaker card. I just HAD to use the fun shaker bits that were included in the kit.

For this card, I started by using the Build a Frog Pond stencil to create a fun background. I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks for the lily pads, and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide for the flowers.

I then colored one of the wicked fun frogs from the Toadally Unfrogettable 6×8 stamp set with Copic markers. I fussy cut it out, which was pretty easy, although there are dies available for the set.

I stamped one of the fun, punny, bold sentiments on the background, and built my shaker with the acetate and foam strips included in the kit. I also cut a stitched frame to finish off the shaker card, and added a few extra ladybugs and flies here and there.

For this second card, I created a water background, ink blending Salvaged Patina Distress Ink with the Build a Frog Pond stencil. I then stamped the sentiment, hearts, and cattails on the background with Versafine Onyx Black. I stamped 2 more of the frogs included in the stamp set, colored with Copics and cut out.

I used a stitched rectangle die to cut the water background out and then matted it with some of the patterned paper included in the kit. I added the frogs onto the card with foam squares, and with a Lawn Fawn glue tube, I added some googly eyes that are included in the kit too!

These cards were so fun and quick to put together. I hope they have inspired you! I can’t wait to play some more!
