Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous: Pre-order NEW Stamps!

Hi everyone! I am here today to share with you a couple of the cards I created with the new Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous release.  I am honored to be a Tim Holtz maker and am so excited to inspire you more with his products!!! I will share more details about each of these cards throughout the next few weeks, but I wanted to be sure to let you know his new stamps and stencils are available now!

Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous: Pre-Order NEW Stamps!

I have 2 cards to share with you today using the new release! Let’s get to it!

For this first card, I used the new Gothic Tapestry stamp set. I started by stamping it on a sheet of Distress White Heavystock with Jet Black Lawn Fawn ink. I then proceeded to color in parts of it with Copic markers. I used bright pinks and greens and did some simple shading. You can see the colors I used below and all of the supplies are listed out at the bottom of this post. I also used some Toner grays to deepen some of the shadows and details that the stamp gives. All of Tim’s stamps with Stampers Anonymous are red rubber, so the detail you can get stamping with these is incredible!

Once I had the image colored, I created my own colored cardstock using the same pink Copic markers so I had a layer to mat the image, and to add to the sentiment, which I used the previously release Noteworthy stamp set for that.

I love how this card came together very easily, and with just a little pop of bright color! Now let’s look at the second card I have to share!

For this card I used the new Unraveled stamp set. I stamped the mummy and jack-o-lantern treat container on some white cardstock, and colored it in with Copic markers. I then fussy cut them out, and attached the treat container to the mummy’s arm with some foam squares on the back.

For the background I started by white embossing one of the spider webs into the upper left corner of a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock.

Anytime I white emboss I use Yeti Lawn Fawn pigment ink, and Alabaster White Brutus Monroe White Embossing Powder.

Note: whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool.

I then proceeded to do a little ink smooshing with Acetate, along with Seedless Preserves and Chipped Sapphire Distress ink. Adding some water spots with the Distress Sprayer, and drying it inbetween layers with the Ranger heat tool.

I then splattered a bit of Fortune Teller Distress Mica Stain from one of the new limited edition sets. For the sentiment I white embossed one from the Unraveled stamp set on black cardstock.
