Tim Holtz/Sizzix: Wicked Spooky

Tim Holtz/Sizzix: Wicked Spooky

For these cards, I started by adding some adhesive sheets to some Distress White Heavystock. Then I die-cut all potion bottles from the Vault Wicked die set out of Distress White Heavystock. I colored them with Copic markers, which are alcohol-based markers. I kept the die-cut pieces inlaid into the cardstock I cut them out of, so it was easier to color the smaller pieces.

Next, I die-cut the cat from Vault Wicked die set several times out of black cardstock and stacked them together with adhesive. For the backgrounds, I created them on Distress Watercolor cardstock with Distress Watercolor Pencils and Gansai Tambi Starry Colors palette.

For the sentiment, I die-cut “wicked” from the Vault Gothic Portraits die set out of black sparkle cardstock. I used black foam squares and strips to adhere it to the card. I then die-cut “spooky” using the letters from the Vault Coffin Box. I used the grid on the Make Art Stay-tion and Best Ever Craft Tape to line the letters up nicely and straight, and I used Distress Collage Medium to adhere it to the card.

I die-cut the stars from the Vault Wicked die-set. I added some Purple Sparkle Cardstock to an adhesive sheet and then die-cut them, making them easy to add to the cards. I added a touch of Rock Candy Distress Glitter to the labels on the potion bottles as well.
