Hey everyone! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Thanks/Thanksgiving challenge last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is Thinking of You! Remember you can enter up to 5 times! 🙂
We are showcasing Hero Arts Products but you don’t have to use them to enter the challenge. As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store.
Since we are showcasing Hero Arts I figured it was a perfect time to use the Acts of Kindness Stamp Set that we got at Simon Says Create! Have you heard about Jennifer McGuire’s Share Handmade Kindness Challenge? This challenge was just what I needed to kick my butt into gear and send out more handmade cards! I create SO many, but mail so little…I struggle with this because I like to keep some of my cards so that people who attend my classes and the Loft Art Retreats can see them in person and I can use the time to explain them and teach them how I created them. But I vow to be better 🙂
I white embossed the Looped Flower Pattern stamp with Hero Arts White Embossing powder (my fave!) on a sheet of Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I then inked over the background with Simon Says Stamp Inks ( Duckling, Twirling Tutu and Teeny Bikini). I mounted the background and stamped the sentiment on SSS Fog Cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in Smoke.
Since I want to send more cards out I made 3 of this design. It was fairly quick!
Ok- so now it’s time for YOU to enter the challenge. Remember, Thinking of You! is the theme so have fun and create a thankful card! Just by playing along and linking up your project to the SSS Wednesday Challenge post you can qualify to enter a $50 shopping voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store.
Also if you are on instagram tag your photo with #ssswchallenge 🙂
There will be ONE lucky winner that will be chosen at random, it could be you!
I really hope to see some of my blog readers join in on all the fun and play along with the challenge. I can’t wait to stop by some of your blogs and take a peek at what you have made. Have a wicked fun time creating!

I love your background – that hero arts stamp is so pretty with the white embossing!
Awesome card 🙂
Hi Jenn, I REALLY like this card. I think the simplicity of it (even though we both know there were several steps and products involved) makes it very attractive. I like the colors you chose. I ordered the stamp set, but it hasn’t come yet! I will definitely make a card or two for this challenge. JJ
