You Are My Sunshine, Photo Inspiration

Hey everyone! Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Anything Goes challenge last week and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week the challenge is Photo Inspiration!

I designed this fun mood board for you to follow, you can use the colors, pictures, whatever you like to create your project. If it’s not obvious please let us know what element you used in your write up.

We are featuring our very own Simon Says Stamp Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge, but if you have them we would love to see them used! As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store! YAY!

You Are My Sunshine, Photo Inspiration

I started by ink blending on the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Whirl Background. I used Pumice Stone, Chipped Sapphire and Broken China Distress Ink. I stamped the sunshine from Bring The Sunshine with Hero Arts Ombre Butter to Orange Ink Pad.

The stitched banner is from Bundle of Stitched Shapes and I inked that up with Scattered Straw Distress Ink. Lastly the clouds are from Sailing Clear Stamp Set.

This card is a bit different from what I would usually design, but I am happy with how it came out! I hope it inspires you to create and join us in this challenge!
