Summerween, Hero Arts
Whoo hoo! Combining two of my favorite things, Halloween and summer, for Summerween! This might be my new favorite “holiday.” Hero Arts’ Summerween release is fabulous, and I couldn’t stop creating with it. I ended up with eight cards to share with you!
I started by picking a fun Summerween color palette: Lawn Fawn inks in Wild Rose, Peachy Keen, Peach Fuzz, Carrot, Merman, and Sugar Cookie.
From there, I created all eight cards using simple Copic coloring (markers listed at the bottom of the post) and simple ink blending, both with and without stencils. I also added simple embellishments: splatters with Dr. Ph. Martin’s Bleed Proof White and Salvaged Patina Distress Paint, plus touches of Glossy Accents, Prisma Glitter, Distress Rock Candy Clear, and sequins/jewels. It was such a fun set to make! Let me know if you have questions, happy to answer them. All supplies are listed and linked at the bottom of the post.
