So… kick back and get ready for a wicked fun month!!! I have a card to share with you today and I will be back tomorrow with another surprise!!
STAMPtember®: Thanks
I had a lot of inky fun with this card! I first embossed the NEW Abstract Triangles on a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock. Then I played around with Distress Inks (Salty Ocean, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers). Many Layers and adding droplets of water with the Distress Sprayer.
I love creating backgrounds like these because you just never know how it’s going to turn out and it is just like magic before your eyes!
I then did a similar background on another sheet and die cut out Painted Thanks and Mini Hearts. I also inked the edges of them with a little bit of Vintage Photo Distress Ink, I think this helps it pop off the background. Lastly I adhered them to the background with foam tape. I put TWO heavy coats of glossy accents on the hearts.
What is your favorite item from the STAMPtember release so far? Also be sure to stop back here tomorrow to see some more surprises!!

Jaw dropping… absolutely love everything about this.
Did you use the Distress Spray Stain and spray it on top of the card or did you use the Distress pad and paint the color on? I have never used the spray and I love the look of your card!
Hi Melissa, yes I used the spray stains that are listed at the bottom of the post. I sprayed them on my ranger craft sheet, sprayed some water on the inks to create droplets. I also sprayed the embossed background and then swiped it into the ink. As I was heating it I added water droplets with the Distress Sprayer. Hope this helps!
You used my favorite stamp in this collection. I love your card — the colors you used, the water spotting, the accents of the sentiment and hearts that have the added dimension of the Glossy Accents. Thanks for sharing.
Love this look. Great distress colors and cool pattern on that new SSS stamp.
