STAMPtember: Gourd Vibes Only
Simon Says Stamp sent me the new Pumpkin To Talk About stamp set. I had so much fun playing with it and I hope you find my card inspiring!
I started by embossing the image onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I used a Versafine Onyx Black ink pad and Simon Says Stamp Clear Detail Embossing Powder. Whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool. I then watercolored the pumpkins using Tim Holtz Distress Mica Sprays. I used the following colors:
- jack-o-lantern
- flickering candle
- unraveled
- phantom mist
- broken broomstick
- sugary gumdrop
These gave the pumpkins a fun shimmer!
I trimmed the background down to be 4″ x 5.25″ and then matted it onto ground coffee cardstock.
I then gold embossed the sentiment and cut it into word strips, adding them to the card with 3L foam strips. Lastly, I added a few Honey Bee Stamps gems for some added bling.
