Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Make It Colorful

I am back with a Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge card! Thank you for joining us for the Anything Goes challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week the challenge is Make It Colorful. Remember you can enter up to 5 times! 🙂

I have loved DoodleBug Products for a LONG time. I remember when they first came out and how obsessed I was with their lopsided snowman– SO CUTE! They also taught me that if you put a smiley face on anything– it immediately becomes WICKED CUTE! And really, if you love all things rainbow- they always have an awesome variety of embellishments in all the colors of the rainbow 🙂

I have a tendency to hoard all the 6×6 paper pads I can. I think I just like to flip through them but am afraid to use them up! I decided today’s card should be based on the DoodleBug Kraft In Color 6×6 Paper Pad. I noticed the exact one I used is out of stock, but there is also this really cute one! I also love their glitter sprinkles– perfect finishing touch to any card!

I have been dying to use Neat and Tangled’s Crafting is My Jam set. I didn’t want to take away from the pattern papers so I mainly watercolored with Hickory Smoke and Black Soot Distress Inks. I white embossed the sentiment on Distress Watercolor paper and did a little watercoloring with Mermaid Lagoon over it. I inked the edges of the Lawn Fawn tag with Black Archival ink. I forgot how much I like inking edges and was reminded the other day in a class I took with Dina Wakley.
