Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Inspiration Color Swatch

I am back with a Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge card! Thank you for joining us for the Let’s Get Sentimental challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week the challenge is Inspiration Color Swatch. Have fun, be creative and enter up to 5 times! 🙂

I created this color swatch for the challenge. Isn’t this Sweet Treats Color Combo so pretty!?!

I haven’t had a chance to play with any of the new goodies they just released in their “Falling For You” Release so I knew right away that is what I would play with!

For this card I used 3 new sets from Simon Says Stamp. Baby Party Animals, Diagonal Stripes and Tiny Alphabet.

To recreate the color swatch I used the following ink pads:

• Simon Says Stamp, Hot Lips ( SSS Diagonal Stripe)
• Hero Arts, Bubblegum (SSS Tiny Alphabet and banner)
• Simon Says Stamp, Sea Glass (confetti in the background)
• Simon Says Stamp, Audrey Blue (“birthday” and banner)

I used watercolor pencils for the coloring of the images on this card. Shocker! The kitty looks like Mister Harley 😉 I just can’t help myself I have a cute model! I also used Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Circle Die and Heidi Swapp’s Marquee Tape for the gold bits. I love this tape because it is already sticky and easy to use when you want just a little bit of sparkle!
