I am back with a Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge card!
This week’s challenge is Anything Goes – the design team is featuring Lawn Fawn products! WOW! You give me an “anything goes” challenge with Lawn Fawn goodies- it is SO hard for me to narrow down a theme… I flipped through all of my Lawn Fawn stamps and dies and papers… and kept thinking of wicked fun ideas… I seriously could’ve made 10 designs! I decided to be inspired by all the gorgeous colors this fall has given us here in New England. I feel like the colors really lingered this year, and I tried to soak it all in and enjoy it as much as I could.
I decided to combine Lawn Fawns adorable Walnut Notecards, Stitched Leaves, Scripty Thanks, Tag You’re It and Sweater Weather 6×6 pad. I am still having so much fun playing with my Mini Distress Inks so I diecut the leaves and “thanks” from Distress Watercolor paper and played with inking them with the Mini Blending Tool and a variety of Distress Ink colors
- Scattered Straw
- Rusty Hinge
- Ripe Persimmon
- Peeled Paint
- Vintage Photo
- Walnut Stain
I just LOVE how realistic these leaves look and how awesome the “thanks” pops off the card!
The Tag You’re It Die set is great to cut tags from all your pattern paper scraps. They match up with some of Lawn Fawn’s stamp sets ( Thank you Tags, Birthday Tags and Winter Gift Tags) but they can be used on their own too!
For a little bling I added a touch of Antique Linen Distress Glitter. I love the mica-type shimmer these glitters give definitely more realistic for these leaves.
Ok- so now it’s time for YOU to enter the challenge. Anything Goes this week so the sky is the limit!!
Just by playing along and linking up your project to the SSS Wednesday Challenge post you can qualify to enter a $50 shopping voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store.
One lucky winner will be chosen at random, it could be you!
I really hope to see some of my blog readers join in on all the fun and play along with the challenge. I can’t wait to stop by some of your blogs and take a peek at what you have made. Have a wicked fun time creating!
Make sure to check back each Wednesday for another fun challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!
