Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: All Creatures Great and Small

I am back with a Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge card! Thank you for joining us for the All Things Bright & Beautiful Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is All Creatures Great & Small!

We are showcasing Paper Smooches this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I took one of the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles, and cut some Neenah Cardstock. I then took the larger set of lips from the Paper Smooches set and stamped it all over the background, second generation stamping in Hot Lips Simon Says Stamp Dye Ink. This has quickly become my favorite red ink, I have been using it on all my valentines!

I then stamped the bear from Lawn Fawn’s Love You S’more Stamp Set. I colored him in with Copics. I stamped the glasses from the Incognito Paper Smooches set, on a piece of plastic with Archival Ink. Once dry I cut them out and used a little bit of Quickie Glue pen, behind the inked parts to adhere the glasses to the bears face.

I used the Marvy blue scallop heart punch and stamped the sentiment “Love You Nerd” I added some smaller hearts from the Love You S’more set. A little bit of ultrafine glitter was added to the sentiment and popped up off the card. The card base is one of Lawn Fawn’s notecards.
