Oh Bother, Lawn Fawnatics

Last year when we hosted the same challenge theme I was eye-balls deep in Crop on the Cape and Art Retreat prep and I wasn’t able to play along. I had wanted to make a Winnie the Pooh card, as he is one of my all time favorites.

I was SO very inspired at all of the cards everyone made. SUCH creativity!!! Even if you aren’t on Instagram, you can still follow along with the #lawnfawnatics here to see all of the fabulous cards people will be making.

I was SO inspired by Grace’s card that she made last year, it was Winnie the Pooh! She even mailed it to me, so I have it hanging in my craft room- such an honor!

Let’s talk about the sets I used and how I used them to create a Hundred Acre Wood scene! Using a Memento brush marker to ink up the stamps helps you modify them and omit some of the stamped lines etc.

Hay There is where I got the pig and horse to create Piglet and Eeyore. Having Grace’s card as an example was awesome for Eeyore, he was a bit tricky 😉

On the Beach and So Owlsome is where I got Winnie the Pooh and Owl

Screen Time is where I got Christopher Robbin

Butterfly Kisses and Bee Mine is where I got the butterfly net, butterflies, grass, flowers, and bumblebee.

I used the stump from Mom & Me and Christopher Robbin is holding a handmade card from Just For You

The larger honey pot is from Milk & Cookies and the smaller ones are from Love Letters

I then used A Birdie Told Me and Harold’s ABC’s for the typical Pooh sentiment “oh bother”

The background is Stitched Cloud Backdrop Landscape and Meadow Backdrop Landscape. I ink blended with Lawn Fawn Mermaid and Freshly Cut Grass Ink.

Lastly, for the “hunny” I used Ranger Liquid Pearls in Gold!

This was such a fun card to make, it took quite some time though- I might just frame it hahaha! Anyways- use your imagination, look at your Lawn Fawn stamps in a different way, and have fun!
