Hey friends! I’m sneaking in one more fall card before the holiday and winter posts take over! 🍂✨
Not only do they save you from all that fussy cutting, but they also open up a whole world of creative possibilities for layering, collage, and mixed-media fun. Let’s dive in!

Nature’s Wonder, Tim Holtz

For this card, I colored directly onto the leaf images from the Nature’s Wonder stamp set using Distress Watercolor Pencils. After misting the stamps lightly, I pressed them onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock to get that soft, watercolor impression. Once they were dry, I cut them out with the coordinating dies.
I usually create inky backgrounds, but this time I wanted the leaves to take center stage, so I kept things clean and simple and adhered them onto crisp white cardstock. I heat-embossed the sentiment in white on a piece of brown cardstock to complement the warm, earthy tones.
For a touch of texture and sparkle, I added Distress Rock Candy Clear Glitter to the open areas of the leaves, using Distress Collage Medium to hold everything in place.
These leaves were so addicting to make that creating a whole set of cards came together effortlessly!
