Hey everyone! Today I’m sharing a couple cards I created with Simon Says Stamp’s May Card Kit, Long Stem Florals. This kit was packed with goodness: an awesome stamp set, stencils, embellishments, and so much more. It’s truly a perfect kit for all kinds of creators!

Long Stem Florals, Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit

This card came together in the best way, soft, modern, and just a little bit sparkly. ✨ Let me walk you through how I made it!

I started with the stencil included in the kit to create that colorful abstract background. I used Distress Inks in a pastel palette to keep things soft and pretty, I love how the colors blend together with those rounded shapes!

Next, I stamped three of the long stem florals from the stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black ink. That crisp black line art against the soft background is perfect. I then splattered a little black paint for some extra texture and movement.

For the sentiment, I stamped and white embossed it, then used the coordinating dies to cut it out. It’s mounted on black foam strips so it really pops off the card. 🖤

I added a few jewels scattered around for a little something extra.

And finally, my favorite part, I used a generous amount of Glossy Accents on some of the petals for dimension, then topped them with Prisma Glitter for that gorgeous sparkle you can see in the photo. Those flowers just glow.
