Life Is A Party, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

Hello! I am sharing with you today some cards I created with the Simon Says Stamp’s April Card Kit, Life Is A Party! This kit is overflowing with products! A 6×8 stamp set, a set of balloon dies, 2 new Stickles Glitter Gel colors, beautiful patterned papers, and more! There is such a variety of products, this kit is perfect for anyone!

Life Is A Party, Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

For this card, I started the Balloon Trio die set, and die cut 1 large balloon and 2 medium balloons out of Distress White Heavystock.

Then I ink blended them with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks. I used:

• Taffy
• Ocean
• Citrine

I then spread some coordinating Stickles Gel in Venus and Galaxy that is included in the kit on the smaller balloons. I set those aside to dry.

Next, I worked on the background, using a piece of Distress White Heavystock I stamped the confetti stamp from the 6×8 Life Is A Party stamp set in the same Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks I used above. Overlapping the confetti stamp with different color inks, and made sure to spin my stamp, and stamp off the edge. I then ink blended the edges with the same inks, overlapping them on the edges, to create new colors.

I trimmed a piece of white cardstock, to be 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ and on that, I stamped the balloon strings and sentiment.

I layered some Pixie Dust Sparkle Cardstock behind the balloons highlights. I then layered the balloons together and added them to the card.
