Here we are with another Lawnscaping Challenge!
If you are looking for the winners from my Valentine Blog Hop Series, I will get to posting those tonight (or quite possibly tomorrow)
This is a fun challenge where we encourage you to dust off some supplies you haven’t used in awhile. Thank you to Lawn Fawn for hosting, which means you could win a gift certificate to Lawn Fawn- so PLAY!
For my card, I dusted off quite a few supplies. First I found the inspiration of this card on Pinterest, it was a card created by Teri Anderson. I just LOVED the look of the viewfinder card- and knew I could find a cut file for my silhouette. My silhouette is definitely one of those things I have “dusted off” lately. I have had it for over a year, Chris got it for my last Christmas, but not until recently have I had time or the space to really play with it!
I also dusted off an older Hero Arts/Basic Grey background stamp– I LOVE this background stamp and don’t think I will ever part with it. And lastly I dusted off the Lawn Fawn set, Admit One. It’s one of the first sets I purchased from Lawn Fawn. I love that there is a Lawn Cut Die set for it now 🙂 It cut’s out the images so nicely, especially the ticket!
I originally created this card for the shoebox swap I just attended at Ink About It. When I was designing my card I went a bit overboard (the card should only take 10 mins) SO… I went back to the drawing board and simplified it a bit. Below is the first card I created, and above is what everyone got to make during the swap. I love both of them!
I love the way you used the cut! I have to dig out my stamp like that viewfinder reel! Thanks for the inspiration! 🙂
Loooove these cards!!! Totally love the viewfinder!!
Also adore the color combos that you used!!! AWESOME job!!
I still love those balloons. Time to bust out one of my older sets 😉
Great card. Love the viewfinder, very creative.
Thanks for bringing back the memory of ViewMaster! We loved those as kids! Your card is very ingenious and I just adore the colors.
