Hope you didn’t miss the enabler video I posted of some new goodies I have added to my creative collection! Be sure to see the post here as there is a fun pile of goodies to be won!
Also, I will be back later today with some cards created with some of the NEW August stamps from Sweet Stamp Shop!
Even though I am in denial, there are only a few weeks left of summer. I know a lot of people are already thinking about and getting their kids ready for “back to school”. Lawnscaping Challenges has some fun and creative ideas for you for teacher cards, or notes for your kids. Be sure to check them out AND enter your ideas into the challenge!
I snuck home a few of the new Lawn Fawn goodies after helping Kelly in Utah. Ok, ok… she GAVE them to me 😉 I couldn’t resist using some for this challenge! I have linked the supplies below, they are a link to pre-order. The new Lawn Fawn will be available August 28th. Be sure to put your requests in with your local stores first!
For this card I used the new navy, wood-grain notecards. These are 110lb cardstock and made in the USA! 🙂 I then broke into my 6×6 Sweather Weather petite paper pack. There are so many fun patterns in this line and I love that they don’t all have to be for fall cards! I used the petite patters of “chill” (the brown background), “crisp” (the fun apples) and “gusty” (the notebook paper I cut the word luck out of). To create the sentiment I diecut out luck from “louies abc’s” lawncuts and stamped the word good with versafine ink and “clark’s abc’s“. I then took a glittery pencil and cut it in half, and then re-sharpened it. Adhering it to the card with a lot of glossy accents!
Totally love this awesome card! The pencil is the perfect final touch with that cool glitter!! <3
Awesome awesome awesome card!!! Love the addition of the pencil!! And the new goodies you used…color me jealous!! So FUN! Ha ha!! The sweater weather paper is just perfect for back to school!!
Your card is so cute.
Thank you so much!
