It’s Summer Release Day for Lawn Fawn- YIPPPEEEEE!!!! Everything is so stinking cute- but are you surprised? I haven’t had a chance to play with it all yet, but I did want to inspire you using the new Build-a-Castle. Of course the second I saw this I thought “sand castle” 😉
For this card, I started by ink smooching some Distress Watercolor Cardstock. For the sand, I used Tea Dye Distress Ink and for the waves, I used Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink.
I die-cut some of the castle pieces out of the Tea Dye ink smooshed Cardstock. Then I cut Stitched Wave Borders out of the Mermaid Lagoon and Pearlescent Vellum
The background is the new Puffy Cloud Backdrop: Portrait. I gently inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and a Blender Brush.
I decorated the castle and add some details with shells and a lobster from Life is Good, You Are Sublime, and Mermaid For You.
Lastly, I added some Prisma Glitter to all the shells and some Chunky Glitter here and there for some sparkle.
