Lawn Fawn STAMPtember

Hi everyone!! I’m back with more STAMPtember fun, this time featuring the highly anticipated stamp, die and coloring stencil set from Lawn Fawn. I know so many of you are going to be wicked excited for this set!

Lawn Fawn STAMPtember

Hi crafty friends! If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I love making a bright and cheery rainbow card. All supplies are listed and linked at the end of this post.

The Background

I started with soft ink blending, using Lawn Fawn inks in rainbow colors. Then I laid the Lawn Fawn Confetti Stencil over the top and stenciled with the same colors, blending darker this time so the confetti pops against the softer background.

Jennabler alert 😉 The confetti stencil is being retired soon, and it’s currently on sale at Lawn Fawn!

I cut the background panel with the largest outside stitched rectangle die. That gives you pretty stitching on all four sides, and it leaves a nice 1/8″ border when you adhere it to a card base. I also added some splatters from the Gansai Tambi Opal palette.

The Critters

Next, I stamped a bunch of images from the exclusive A Mole Lot of Cake stamp set and colored them in with Copic markers. As always, I’m sharing a picture below of the markers I used.

The Sentiment

I white embossed the sentiment on black cardstock. Then I cut the word “mole” from the Quinn’s ABC’s dies, using only the dies. I cut one set from black cardstock and the other from grape sparkle cardstock, then layered the black set behind the sparkle letters for a nice drop shadow.

Putting It All Together

Of course, I added Prisma glitter to the stamped images with a Quickie Glue Pen, and then built my scene. Once everything was in place, I stamped a few of the confetti images around the card. The 1.75″ grip block is perfect for this tiny stamping.
