july 14: on the boardwalk

For this card I decided to use some more of my graphic 45 papers 🙂 I'm never very good at those crinkled borders, but i tried!!!

And today for my crafty friend, i have my galaxy girl aka stacy… pop on over to her blog and see what she came up with 😉  she will be donating her creative item as well!!!

ALSO!! if you are local to cape cod… This sunday, July 17th christy will be hosting a benefit for her mom at the VFW in Provincetown… here is some information about it, if you have any questions let me know, all are welcome!!

Please join us for a fun afternoon to help support Christy, Kali and Brittany's Mom Sue Avila who was recently diagnosed with Lung and Stomach Cancer. Since her diagnosis Sue has undergone multiple tests, radiation and most recently chemotherapy treatment. Therefore Sue has been unable to work as much she would like to. Sue and her family would appreciate any support to help alleviate some of the burdens they are facing with this illness.

This fundraiser will have food from many local restaurants including Montano's Restaurant where Sue worked for many years, a cash bar and music from The Gimmicks and Deaf Metal Productions along with raffles and a silent auction! There will be a $20.00 donation at the door.

I know that a lot of you may not know Sue personally but I know that most of you know Christy and the fact that she has been involved in a lot of benefits and fundraisers in the past that she has either helped organize, support or create like the Run To The Top which ironically was created to help support local FF/EMS with their own battles with cancer. So if not for anything else, please come out and support Christy! She deserves it and needs our help this time!
