Hero Arts: Oh What Fun Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Hero Arts Oh What Fun Blog Hop! It’s that time of year again, to start planning your holiday cards. If you haven’t already been get cracking on those monthly with me now is the time to start!

If you are visiting my blog for the first time or have not yet subscribed – be sure to do so! I share lots of handmade projects every week delivering them straight to your inbox! I also occasionally share information about crafty classes and new product releases I love. Subscribe here.

Sometimes keeping it simple is where it’s at! Especially when making holiday cards! I loved using elements from Layering Snowglobe Fancy Die to create this card! I watercolored the pieces with Hero Arts Reactive Inks. For the winter sky, I used Blueprint Sketch and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide, and ink blended.

For this second card, I watercolored the background with Blue Raspberry Reactive Ink, then die cut the Merry Christmas cover plate in gold glitter cardstock. Using a Glue tube to adhere the 2 together works best for all the small areas.
