Hello Sunshine, Lawn Fawnatics

In honor of Lawn Fawn bringing back Hello Sunshine papers, I thought I would break out this older coordinating set to create a card. The embellishment that I used and haven’t for a while is a Wink of Stella pen- to add a little shimmer to the clouds and hearts.

I started by stamping the clouds with Distress Oxide and filling them in by watercoloring. I picked the color up directly from the Distress Oxide ink pad.

• Spiced Marmalade
• Mustard Seed
• Twisted Citron
• Peacock Feathers
• Seedless Preserves

For the background I watercolored with Distress Oxides in Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers, building up layers. All of the watercoloring was done on Distress Watercolor Cardstock – MY FAVE!

Once I had all of the clouds arranged on my card with 3M foam tape- I then stamped some raindrops in Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide. I added some little hearts in the same rainbow Distress Oxide colors.

For the sentiment, I used the “hello sunshine” from the set in Versafine Onyx Black so that it would really pop!

And to finish it off I added that Wink of Stella that I mentioned before.
