Hello everyone! I’m so excited to be sharing a fun Lawn Fawn card with you today!

Hello- Happy Love Day, Lawn Fawn

I wanted to make a Valentine card that would be perfect to send to one of my friends. I started with Love Poems, and stamped out 5 of the mice holding the note. I colored them with Copic markers, and die-cut them out.

I then die-cut “HELLO” with Oliver’s ABCs. I ink blended the letters with Lawn Fawn Bubblegum ink, covering most of the letters, leaving the top white. Then I inked the bottom with Lobster Lawn Fawn ink. Using a Quickie Glue pen I added glue to the bottom of the letters and dragged the pen towards the top, but not adding any glue at the very top of the letters, then I dipped the letters into Prisma glitter for a little sparkle. I adhered each letter to each note held by the mouse with 3M foam tape.

For the background, I did some ink smooshing with Spun Sugar regular Distress Ink on Distress White Heavystock. We are going to learn how I created this background and a whole bunch of other Distress Ink Techniques in my next online class, you can see more details here.

I then die-cut the background with the largest die in the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. Next, I adhered each of the little mouse notes, and then I stamped the other sentiments from Love Poems and Sweet Friends.
