Happy Galentine’s, Lawn Fawn
Galentine’s Day cards might just be one of my favorite things to make, and this sweet bunny card totally stole my heart! I created this project using Build-a-Bunny, Build-a-Critter Valentine Accessories, and the Giant Outlined Love die for a bold, playful focal point.
I die-cut all of the elements from Distress Watercolor Cardstock and added color with Distress Watercolor Pencils. This cardstock paired with watercolor pencils is one of my favorite combinations, the subtle texture it creates adds so much interest while still keeping everything soft and whimsical.
After assembling the card, I ink blended a piece of cardstock with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide, then white heat embossed the sentiment “Happy Galentine’s Day” from the Critter Conversation Hearts stamp set. The bright white embossing really pops against that pink background and ties everything together.
To finish it off, I added a touch of Distress Rock Candy Chunky Glitter along the edges of the Giant Outlined Love for just a little extra sparkle. It’s the perfect subtle shine and adds a fun, festive detail without overpowering the design.
This card is such a happy way to celebrate friendship, and a great reminder that Galentine’s Day deserves handmade cards just as much as Valentine’s Day 💖 Be sure to check out the full supply list and more details below!
