Hey crafty friends! 👋 I’m popping in to share a card I made using some of my favorite Tim Holtz stamps and stencils from Stampers Anonymous.
Fun fact: Stampers Anonymous doesn’t retire their Tim Holtz designs—so there’s a huge library of awesome stamps and stencils you might not have seen in a while (or totally forgot you had 😉).
Hope this project sparks some inspiration to dig into your stash and get creative! ✨

Happy Easter, Tim Holtz

I had some fun pulling out some older favorites for this card. The Tim Holtz Blueprint stamp sets are ones I have loved since they first came out years and years ago, and they are one of those collections that truly never go out of style.
I started by stamping the bunny image onto the textured side of Distress Watercolor Cardstock using Crunchy Leaf Lawn Fawn Ink. I really love using watercolor cardstock for techniques like this because the texture helps add to the look of the card.
Once everything was stamped, I added color using Distress Watercolor Pencils. These pencils are one of my favorite ways to add soft watercoloring to stamped images. I simply added some color and blended it out with a damp brush.
I also stamped and watercolored the Easter egg as well.
After the coloring was finished, I die cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die to give the card a nice finished edge. I adhered the panel to a card base where I had lightly ink blended the edges with Distress Ink to add a little extra depth and color.
For a few extra details, I stamped the “bunny” label again, fussy cut it out, and added it to the card with a foam square for some dimension.
I also fussy cut the Easter egg and popped that up on the card as well.
To finish everything off, I added a bit of Distress Rock Candy Clear Glitter to the bow and some of the decorative details on the egg. I love the subtle sparkle it adds, just the right finishing touch!
One of the things I love most about crafting is revisiting supplies that have been in my stash for years and giving them new life. These Blueprint stamps are a perfect example, they are still just as fun and inspiring today as when they were first released.
If you have some older stamp sets tucked away, this might be a fun time to pull them out and create with them again. I’d love to see what you make! Be sure to share your projects and tag me or post them in the {creative chick} studio share group so we can all be inspired. Happy crafting, friends! ✨
