Hello everyone! 💙
Today I’m sharing a bit of Lawn Fawn inspiration with some of my favorite Easter sets! 🐣🌷 I just love creating sweet spring scenes, and I am especially obsessed with the brand new Stamp ‘n Stencil Easter Eggs set that just came out. It makes decorating all those Easter eggs so much fun and SO easy. The layering details are everything!
Before we hop into today’s project, I wanted to sprinkle in a little extra spring inspiration for you…
Looking for more crafty time? Be sure to join Kelly Marie and me for the next Create With Us featuring I Like Big Butterflies on March 5th. It’s always such a fun time crafting together LIVE, sharing ideas, and seeing what everyone creates.
And if you want to keep those spring vibes going, my brand-new Flutter & Fabulous online class is all about coloring beautiful butterflies and experimenting with watercolor techniques. We’ll play with color, build confidence, and (of course) add a little sparkle along the way.
These classes aren’t just about making cards, they’re about setting aside time to actually use your supplies, try something new, and be part of a welcoming, encouraging community of creative peeps. I’d love to have you join us 💕
Happy Easter, Lawn Fawn

For this card, I started by creating the background on Distress White Heavy cardstock. I ink-blended the, cloudy sky and bright, springy grass to set the scene. I then die-cut the panel with the largest Outside In Stitched Rectangle to add that subtle stitched detail I love, it just gives everything a polished finish.
Next, I stamped and colored some of my favorite images from Lawn Fawn’s Easter sets (I’ve shared the exact colors I used below!). These sweet little images just make me smile every time.
For the Easter eggs, I had so much fun using the coordinating coloring stencils. I love that Lawn Fawn included these because they make decorating the eggs so easy and FUN! I first added a soft base layer of color with regular Distress Ink. Then I layered on the patterns using Distress Oxide Ink, which really makes the designs pop thanks to that more opaque finish.
I stamped the grass along the card using Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide. The “Chirpy-Chirp-Chirp!” sentiment was stamped with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide, and the “translation” line along with the butterfly trail were stamped in Hickory Smoke Distress Ink.
And of course… I glittered all of the things. ✨ Using a Quickie Glue Pen and Prisma Glitter, I added sparkle to the basket trim, the bow highlights, the egg patterns, and even a touch to the shadow on the speech bubble. I couldn’t resist filling in the “Happy Easter” letters too, they were just begging for sparkle!
I’d love to know, are you team soft pastels or bold and bright for your Easter cards? Let me know in the comments, and tell me which detail on this card is your favorite! 💕
