Hey crafty friends! 👋 I’m popping in to share a card I made using some of my favorite Tim Holtz stamps and stencils from Stampers Anonymous.
Fun fact: Stampers Anonymous doesn’t retire their Tim Holtz designs—so there’s a huge library of awesome stamps and stencils you might not have seen in a while (or totally forgot you had 😉).
Hope this project sparks some inspiration to dig into your stash and get creative! ✨

Halloween Skeleton, Tim Holtz

This was such a fun, inky card to create! I started by pigment smooshing the background with Distress Watercolor Pencils for a soft, layered wash of color. Next, I added Distress Watercolor Pencil directly to the spiderweb and bat stamps, then stamped them onto the background for a subtle, textured look.
For the collage elements, I colored directly onto the stamps again with Distress Watercolor Pencils, stamped them out, and then fussy cut each one. To give them an aged, grungy feel, I roughed up the edges with a Paper Distresser and inked them with Black Soot Archival Ink. Once everything was ready, I adhered the collage pieces to the background and finished the card with the skeleton and sentiment stamps.
This technique is all about letting loose and playing with those watercolor pencils, perfect for creating spooky, layered Halloween vibes! 👻
