Halloween Pocket, Spellbinders

Hello everyone! I have a fun card to share with you that I created with some of Spellbinders’ and Wendy Vecchi dies. This is part of a creative collection of dies for all year round. I am in a Halloween mood, so that is what inspired this make.

Alright, now to the fun project I have to share with you-

Halloween Pocket, Spellbinders

I started by die-cutting elements from the Spellbinders, Not Your Ordinary Card Collection Wendy Vecchi Halloween Add-Ons. I cut the outside of the pocket with orange Sparkle Cardstock. I creased the folds with a bonefolder and put it together with some double-sided strong tape. I die-cut the web out of black sparkle cardstock and adhered it to the pocket with glue tube. I then die-cut the other elements out of Distress Watercolor Cardstock.

I then watercolored the elements with Distress Watercolor Pencils. This was an easy way to add color to these fun pieces. If you want to learn more about Distress Watercolor Pencils, check out my online class!

For the sentiments I black embossed them with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and Ultra Fine Clear Embossing Powder. Whenever I do ANY embossing, I prep the surface using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool.

I then embellished it with all the sparkly things! I added a touch of Prisma Glitter with a Quickie Glue Pen. I also added some Glossy Accents to the eyes. Glitter All Of The Things!

This was so fun to create and plenty of space for a Halloween message.
