Hey friends! 👻 If you haven’t noticed, I am loving making Halloween cards lately. A lot of people think they’re just for kids, but I totally disagree. Halloween cards are playful, creative, and full of imagination, which makes them so much fun to share with anyone! 🎃 I’ve got another spooky-fun design to show you today! ✨

Halloween Glow, Tim Holtz

I created the background using Distress Watercolor Pencils with the Curator stamp set, layering soft, spooky color and texture. Once it was completely dry, I spread Distress Texture Paste Glow through the Bones stencil, and just wait until you see that eerie glow below!
For the sentiment, I colored directly onto the Halloween Whatnots stamp with Distress Watercolor Pencils, then stamped and trimmed it out for a painterly look. I also heat embossed “trick or treat” from the Spirits stamp set in crisp white for contrast.
And of course, I couldn’t resist adding a touch of Distress Rock Candy Glitter, because everything’s better with a little sparkle!
