Hey friends! I have some Halloween cards with a fun little spin to share with you today! I used some of the fabulous coordinating dies for Tim Holtz stamps from Stampers Anonymous.
Even better? These dies are exclusively available at Simon Says Stamp! 🙌
Not only do they save you from all that fussy cutting, but they also unlock a whole new world of creative possibilities, especially when it comes to layering and collage. Let’s dive in!

Halloween Doodles, Tim Holtz

I love pairing pink and orange for Halloween, it’s such a fun, modern twist on the traditional spooky palette! 🎃💖
For this card, I ink-blended the background with Distress Inks in Saltwater Taffy, Dried Marigold, and Spiced Marmalade, then added extra interest by stamping over it with Distress Oxide Inks in Saltwater Taffy and Spiced Marmalade.
The images are from the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous “Halloween Doodles” set. I stamped them with Distress Oxide Inks onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock, then used a wet paintbrush to pull the pigment from the stamped lines, adding depth and shadow. After cutting them out with the coordinating dies from Simon Says Stamp, I adhered them all over my background, trimming along the edges where they hung off the panel.
To finish, I brushed on a bit of Distress Rock Candy Glitter with Distress Collage Medium for sparkle. The sentiment was heat-embossed in white on Black Licorice cardstock. As always, I prepped the surface with the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool, stamped several times with Yeti White Pigment Ink in my MISTI, and finished it off with Alabaster Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe for a crisp, clean look. ✨
